Collegiate AC’s brand new Bristol office has already been put to good use, with an agents’ reception held to celebrate the office’s opening. CEO Eri Cuanalo was delighted to welcome guests from JLL, Knight Frank, Savills and Cushman & Wakefield to the reception at his company’s new Queen Street regional base. Over champagne and canapés the dynamic CEO laid out his vision for Collegiate’s future and his thoughts on the student accommodation sector.
Demand for Collegiate’s particular brand of luxury student accommodation has never been higher. It has led to the company taking a dual regional office approach, with bases in Bristol and Edinburgh as well as its HQ in Oxfordshire. The structure provides a practical operational base from which to pursue the company’s growth strategy over the coming years.
That strategy will see at least 10 additional properties added to the Collegiate offering during 2016, at locations up and down the UK. Some will be in cities where Collegiate already operates, while others will bring the company’s superior student accommodation to entirely new cities, such as Bournemouth, Derby and Newcastle. Irrespective of where they are located, the properties will have Collegiate’s signature blend of high spec, en-suite student apartments and luxurious communal features, such as on-site cinema rooms, private gyms, club lounges and dinner party rooms.
Increasingly, draughty halls of residence and squalid shared flats are being left behind in favour of the sophisticated new generation of student living that has swept across the UK. CEO Eri Cuanalo comments,
“Collegiate has been delighted to play such an influential role in the modernisation of the UK’s student accommodation sector. It’s an area about which I feel incredibly passionate and which is long overdue for a shake up. It’s been exciting to be a key part of that process in recent years and Collegiate will continue to innovate and ensure that it is at the forefront of the sector’s development over the years ahead. Our new Bristol office and the recent agents’ reception are part of taking the company to the next level in order to achieve even greater things over the coming years.”
