Home and art fused into one in Bristol, as Collegiate’s new show suite reveals

The planned opening of a new show suite in Bristol is set to reveal the next generation of student accommodation, thanks to its fusion of home and art. The design-led apartments from leading student accommodation provider Collegiate AC has wowed the city’s students and is now about to be revealed to the wider world.

Fusion Tower is the brainchild of a close knit team of leading architects, interior designers and graphic designers. Every element of the building has been design led and the results are simply stunning. Students’ rooms are stylish, comfortable and deceptively spacious, while the building’s communal facilities are exceptional.

A private on-site gym, club house for hanging out and in-house cinema all see students relaxing in style, while the building’s bar would comfortably hold its own in New York’s Meatpacking District.

Eri Cuanalo, CEO of Collegiate, explains the concept behind Fusion Tower,

“Student accommodation is becoming more and more luxurious, with companies like Collegiate actively driving up standards across the sector. With Fusion Tower, we wanted to see how we could take student housing to the next level and create something really special. This is true design-led living, though of course we have still packed the building with practical features, such as high-speed broadband and Wi-Fi with unlimited data.”

The imminent opening of the Fusion Tower show suite has spread excitement beyond just the student accommodation sector. Those working in property across Bristol are keen to catch a glimpse of this iconic building for themselves, drawing lessons from its cutting edge design to incorporate into newly built and refurbished properties across the city.

Design is very much in mind in Bristol at the moment, with the winning team to design the £91 million Bristol Arena entertainment venue just announced. Nicholas Reynolds, from winning firm Populous, comments,

“We believe Bristol Arena will be the catalyst for the creation of a vibrant new quarter in the city.”

The project exemplifies Bristol’s growing arts reputation – a reputation that blends art with contemporary living in a way that fits snugly with some of the coolest capital cities in the world. Collegiate is incredibly proud to be part of such a leading movement through Fusion Tower.
