Every year, students the length and breadth of the UK take part in the respected Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey, rating numerous aspects of their time at university in order to produce a league table of the best student experiences in the country.
The 2015 survey results have just been released and Collegiate AC was delighted to find that its leading student accommodation options were available in six of the top 20 cities in the league table – including three in the top ten.
Eri Cuanalo, CEO of leading student accommodation provider Collegiate AC, comments,
“It has always been my goal to provide students with superior accommodation in superior areas, not just based on academic credentials but also on how they find the whole university experience. As staying with Collegiate is itself all about the experience of luxurious and stylish accommodation, it is excellent news that so many of our residences are in the same areas as those voted into the top 20 league table in the Times survey. It dovetails perfectly with what we are aiming to achieve.”
The University of Exeter was the highest Collegiate location in the rankings, taking the eighth spot, with the University of Leeds directly following. The University of St Andrews in Edinburgh took 16th place, with the University of Birmingham and the University of Southampton tied in 18th position.
The University of Nottingham was also in the top 20, in 12th place. Collegiate’s accommodation in that city is due to launch ready for the academic year starting in September 2016, showing that even the company’s future properties are in tune with students’ positive experiences of university life.
Within the individual categories, Collegiate’s cities also fared well. London, where Collegiate provides two outstanding accommodation options, ranked in four of the six categories (high quality staff/lecturers, high quality facilities, good sports facilities and good industry connections) thanks to the performance of Imperial College London and the Royal Veterinary College. The only ones it missed out on were good community atmosphere and cheap shop/bar/amenities.
The six categories also saw universities in Leeds, Cardiff, Exeter, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Birmingham included in them. Collegiate is proud to provide first class accommodation in all of these cities.
