English universities have now submitted their plans for review on the charging of tuition fees from 2012, with final figures expected in July 2011.
The BBC has a list of university fees and statements from each university: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-12880840 and most Universities are charging closer to the £9,000 cap, with all declared so far charging a minimum of £6,000.
The tuition fees come into force for students commencing academic courses in 2012 and are part of the Browne Review undertaken by Lord Browne which looked at how to make the future of UK universities more sustainable.
The present government has accepted elements of the Brown Review but continues to debate whether to implement all aspects in full.
